Human bodies are all different and although some accidents may sound the same, such as “a rear-end collision”, the forces involved in these accidents do affect different people in different ways. Some people spend a lot of time exercising and have great muscle tone, strong ligaments and tendons and may be able to resist injury easier than other people who may be older, perhaps don’t exercise as much, or at all and have weaker muscles, tendons and ligaments. This wide variation in body type and the consistency of each individual’s anatomical makeup is the reason accidents can affect people in vastly different ways. An accident that has little effect on one person can have a significant impact on another person’s ability to function. This is related to the difference in the makeup and health of different people’s body tissues. It is for this reason that every patient deserves a treatment plan specific to them. The idea that all patients with a particular condition should be treated for the same number of visits does not take into account the endless variations that exist among different body types. Some people may require only simple instructions on what they can do at home on their own, while others may require several visits with a provider in order to regain their ability to function. We believe that this decision is best determined by a provider that thinks first about their patient and this is what makes Grandview Health Partners a “patient first” facility.

Besides workman’s comp and auto accident cases we also accept PPO insurance plans and we are In-Network Chiropractic providers with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois.
